Philippe Conil is a bioengineer who graduated from the University of Brussels (ULB - 1981). He dedicated his 40 years professional career to organic matter management in the Tropics and more specifically to agro-industrial byproducts and effluents valorization into gas and biofertilizers, with the design, construction and operation of more than 50 agro-industrial biodigesters on three continents, generating and valorizing more than 700.000 m3 biogas per day (2024).
